Warranty and Refunds

1. Introduction 

You will love your Skull Shaver – if you don’t love it then within 30 days of your purchase we will give you your money back. We believe that we have hit a winning formula for our shavers. We are confident that you will feel the same once you try our products. We stand behind our products and our warranties.  

To put our money where our mouth is, every genuine Skullshaver shaver product (blades excluded) comes with certain protections when purchased as outlined in this warranty policy (Warranty).  

This Warranty is incorporated by reference into our website Terms and Conditions and Privacy PolicyYou acknowledge, warrant and represent to us, Skullshaver ABN 34 212 236 064 (Skullshaver, we or us), that you have read, understood and agree to the website Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.  Any capitalised terms not defined in this Warranty are defined in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.    

 2. Warranty Claims  

In addition to the rights and remedies that you have under Australian Consumer Law, Skullshaver will provide the following warranty against defects on your Skull Shaver product.  If, during the first 12 months from their date of purchase, the product (excluding blades) prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or manufacture, we will repair, replace or substitute the goods at our absolute discretion.  

You must provide us with: 

  (a) the original product;
  (b) proof of purchase in the form of your confirmation email, order invoice or      original receipt, within 12 months from purchase date;
  (c) a clear explanation as to what you feel the defect to be and  photographic/video evidence demonstrating the fault; and
  (d) pay the costs associated with posting, transporting or delivering the product to us or an overseas repair agent and the costs of returning the repaired or replacement product to you.

 3. Warranty exclusions

We will not repair or replace the product under this Warranty if the defects have been caused by you, including but not limited to if the product or blades have been:     

 (a) used for a commercial purpose;
 (b) misused, improperly or inappropriately installed, operated or repaired including not in accordance with instructions supplied with the product;
 (c) modified in any manner or repaired by anyone other than Skullshaver; or
 (d) abused; damaged; or not maintained in accordance with instructions. 

This Warranty does not apply to spare or replacement parts, consumables or accessories for the product including but not limited to the blades.  

This warranty is only valid and enforceable in Australia and New Zealand. 

4. Money-Back Guarantee 

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will refund 100% of your purchase price within 30 days of your purchase. 

To claim a refund for a change of mind, you must agree to the following conditions: 

 (a) Provide to us the original product and proof of purchase in the form of your confirmation email, order invoice or original receipt, within 30 days from purchase date as specified on the receipt to: Skullshaver C/- PO Box 1047, Blackburn North VIC 3130
 (b) Refund does not include postage costs for the return of the product;
 (c) No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected mail when you are returning a product to us, we recommend that you use tracking; and
 (d) Refund is only available if we determine that the product has been used in the recommended manner.

5. Australian Consumer Law 

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. 

Certain legislation including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) in the Consumer and Competition Act 2010 (Cth), and similar consumer protection laws and regulations may confer you with rights, warranties, guarantees and remedies relating to the provision of goods or services to you by us which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. 

Please contact us directly with your proof of purchase and details of the fault if you consider that you are entitled to a return under the Australian Consumer Law and for us to arrange a return of the faulty product. 

6. Limitation of Liability  

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no representation or warranties, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and ShaverHub’s total aggregate liability to you under or in any way connected with this Warranty is limited to one or more of the following:  

 (a) the replacement of the goods or supply of equivalent goods;
 (b) the repair of the goods;
 (c) the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; or
 (d) the payment of the cost of having the goods repaired.
